Tier3 Technologies announced the addition of a network evaluation and quality assurance tool to its Eveready Services Platform®. The tool allows companies to evaluate their current network’s readiness to shift to cloud computing and VOIP.

“Cloud computing is the future for our clients,” said Michael Paynter, founder and managing partner for Tier3 Technologies. “By offering these tools as part of our Eveready Services Platform, clients can clearly see their network performance through the cloud and quickly identify the source of performance issues.”

Tier3 Technologies has teamed with Apparent Networks to leverage their PathView Cloud network performance management solution for both pre-deployment assessments and ongoing quality assurance. Once deployed, PathView Cloud integrates with the Eveready Services Platform to continually monitor a client company’s network performance through the cloud, validate carrier network service levels, and quickly find and fix network performance issues. In addition, clients considering the move to VOIP are able to utilize the unique combination to perform VOIP readiness assessments.

ExaGrid works with existing backup systems and significantly increases performance, speed and data protection and recovery utilizing state-of-the-art de-duplication technology. Tier3 Technologies adds SwitchVox® voice over internet protocol, VOIP PBX, solution to the Eveready Services Platform® in order to provide a complete business continuity solution for clients. "While we know that virtual backend and virtual desktop infrastructure worked well during the natural disaster events of the past year, hurricane Ike and ice storms, clients still need to extend "traditional" voice services to information workers in times of geographic displacement" according to Michael Paynter, Managing Partner. "With the SwitchVox® solution we now have the ability to meet that need via almost any internet or IP connection."

Hosparus of Louisville, KY adds mobility applications to their Eveready Services Platform® deployment. Hosparus, currently with about 70 users deployed, plans for 150 mobile users by the end of the year based on results of joint testing with Tier3 Technologies, Sprint and Verizon. Users are seeing 4-7 times capacity increase in bandwidth and significant improvements in application performance.
